Marbella has been home to Dolph and his family in the years since his memorable role as Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. The mayor of Marbella said he was honored to choose someone “as distinguished as Dolph, who could chose any place to live and has decided to be with us’. ‘He will promote the town and its image worldwide’
Dolph says of the Marbella “[it's] a very special place for my family …. [with the] warmth and hospitality of the locals, who know how to enjoy life in a way that is unique in the world’.” He joins the position along with Alejandro Blanco, the President of the Spanish Olympic Committee.
