With angels such as Heidi Klum, Kylie Bisutti and Adriana Lima modeling the latest Victoria's Secret unmentionables at last night's TV presentation, it garners intense media and private attention. This year, several of the angels were modeling more than lingerie.
Your Tango reports that four of the beauties on this years runway have either just given birth, or are pregnant, including Ms. Klum who welcomed her third child, baby Lou, with husband Seal over a month ago. Adriana Lima and her NBA husband just had their first in November, and two other lovelies, Gisele Bunchen and Karolina Kurkova are expecting. Ms. Klum has returned twice to the stage within weeks of giving birth, looking as lovely as before.
The rest of us moms can only stare in wonder at her magical recovery, atypical for the average uterus, boobs and belly. Most go nine months in, nine months out to get something close to our pre-pregnancy bodies, and are lucky if fat doesn’t decide to stick to strange places (back fat anyone?). It’s hard not to covet their model bodies and pregnancies, so pretty on the runway and fashionable in Pea-in-the-Pod clothes.
